Fishy Friends!

Recently...well actually for a year now Emma has been REALLY wanting a dog.  It's funny....if you ask her why we don't have a dog her reply is always the same.....we can't get a dog because we have triplets :-)  I feel bad but adding a dog to the mix right now would send me over the edge....way over the edge!  We told her that we would get a dog once everyone was older and could help take care of it.  SO we decided to get the next best thing: FISH!  

Off we went to Petsmart...you can imagine the excitement as we entered the store!  It was pretty fun!  And we really only had a vague idea of what we wanted...well...we really had no clue because the first two goldfish Roger and I had (Joey and Chandler RIP) when we first got married died within two weeks of getting them....and we knew if we were going to get fish we needed to know all the ins and outs so we could keep them alive as long as possible.....So after much online research it looked like tetras were the way to go....a great beginner fish.  We had tetras growing up and they did well for my brother and I.  We picked our tank and then the real fun began.  What to do for decorations and rock color.  There are endless possibilities.....at first we had the most unconventional brightly colored tank you would ever dare to see.  We discovered that they have all the Marvel characters and Disney Princess characters to put in your tank.....that was an exciting find.....Holy Moly!  But Henry thought we had too much pink!  So after much deliberation.....we decided to tone it down a bit :-)  for Henry's sake.....haha!  Although mommy kept the blue glow in the dark sea weed....(can you tell who like all the colorful stuff!) Keeping the rainbow rocks we went for a more natural look.  So today we have four tetras home and settled  and things seem to be going well! You will notice that they are all hiding behind the big coral....I think they are still a little afraid of us :-)
