What a whirlwind it has been! The month of September has flown by and now we are loving the fall weather!
Emma is enjoying school! She has been learning about apples, pumpkins and fall things and has especially enjoyed music, art and gym! She can't wait for school to start each day and comes home with lots of fun tales from the classroom. She is excited for Halloween and the Fall Festival at church. She will be going as a cheerleader!
Henry had his follow up ultrasound visit and all is well! He has some extra fluid between his brain and skull that are making his head look larger than it should but with time once his soft spot closes and hardens the fluid will go away.
Everyone visited the doctor last week! It was quite an eventful hour and a half appointment. He put each baby in their own exam room so I rotated around which gave me time to focus on each one. Everyone grew three inches since their last appointment in June and are all over 20lbs! They are all on the normal growth chart and fall anywhere from the 25th to 50th percentiles! Such a huge answer to prayer......they aren't preemies anymore! We are hearing lots of mamas and dadas so that has been fun and everyone is starting to begin to crawl! The PT gave us some exercises to do so we have been working with them to help them achieve this milestone.
We are gearing up for their first birthday! I can't believe it has almost been a year....one year ago at this time I had just been put on moderate bedrest and was getting VERY uncomfortable! Time has just flown!
My cousin Jeff and his wife Kathy came down from Pittsburgh to visit the babies for the first time! It was so fun catching up with them and they really enjoyed seeing Emma and the babies!
