I can't believe this weather! First we were hit with 24 inches last weekend and now another 14-20 yesterday. At one point the wind was blowing so hard there was no point in snow blowing because as fast as you could move it the wind just blew it over and it was coming down really hard. The wind was blowing so hard that the snow was sticking to the back windows and we couldn't even see out of them! We actually had frosted window panes!! :-) Never in my 30 years of living here in Delaware have we had this much snow or two storms back to back like this. The meteorologists were so cheesy calling these storms "Snowmagedon 1 and 2". But today we are digging out and the kids are loving it! The snow is packed down enough that Emma can walk on top of it without sinking. One of these pictures is from our laundry room (back door) the snow was up above my waist...the other is the view outside our kitchen window...the drift is about 5-6 inches up the window!
